Finally finished the rig of this character. Took me forever because I’ve never rigged a face before. But I think it’ll work out nicely. Kind of a cluster in the face.

Just finished the texture map on this character. Not sure how happy I am with it. Might have to go back and do some more work, but for now… time to sleep.
The 2nd and 3rd images are an example of the matcap trick I used. The first is my quick diffuse painting pass while the second is done with baking zbrush matcap info into the diffuse. It gives a cool effect I think~

The UV layout of my character model. I could have spent more time and packed it a lot tighter, but I was testing if the orientation of the uv’s woule effect a normal bake… and then I just got lazy.
Finished unwrapping this guy… now I’m watching xNormal bake out my maps… and watching… and watching.
Finished sculpt of this guy. Time to move onto the re-topo. Wish I could spend more time.
Progress shot of the character I’m currently Zbrushing. Almost there… just need that stinking head. I’d love to spend more time on it, but my milestone is next week…gotta move forward.
Roughed in my character model as a base to Zbrush on. Time to switch programs.
